You know how when you're in a crap mood to begin with, all the little things just get to you the more?

Amazon was sold out of vibrators this morning. Apparently the world is full of women who are in desperate need of a vibrator. My search continues

My neice decided to play with my toiletries (I have a large, low sink in my room so all my body products are in there) and leaked all of my shower gel all over my jewelery and bobby pins. Including my turquoise. I just spent half an hour washing it, and I am less then pleased.

Getting the horse home was a pain in the ass.

The gravel guy came two hours late.

My uncle is going to be here a day early, and we're not ready. I'm looking forward to seeing my uncle, but... not ready. At all.

I am continuing in my vein of Getting Things Done. Got cable set up yesterday. [info]rivendellrose, if you come home and I haven't made a doctor's appointment, you have permission to beat me. But only very lightly. ;-)

I have a few errands I need run today. I need to get down to a bank to deposit all my checks, and then I need to pick up a few things. I'm surprisingly doing pretty well today, though I imagine that's subject to change at any minute. Bless the Seattle public transit, though. I'll probably just head up to Northgate, as everything I need is up there. Bank, Target and Best Buy. Then tonight the dog is getting his bath. But now it's time for mine, and the big decision of which Manga do I start first. Legal Drug, or Gravitation? Decisions, decisions....

There's been some talk over at [info]gayseattle of starting up a queer writer's group. The idea has caught my interest, and I'll be keeping an eye on how it develops. I really do need to be doing more with my fictoinal writing.

I've begun to drift again but not badly. I fade in and out on different days, floating gently towards a destination that's fuzzy at best. The trip home helped a bit, to be perfectly honest.

I need to clean my room today, it's a mess. I haven't even properly unpacked. I also need to order the rest of my furniture. I'm running out of space to put things, and I can order cheaply from Target or Walmart or one of those type places. I'd really like my bedroom to feel like a bedroom, not just a room I stay in.

Good Idea: washing your bedding in the morning, afternoon or evening.

Bad Idea: washing your bedding at ten o'clock at night and then forgetting about it until past midnight.

First batch of Xmas cards are mailed out. I'll be working on the second half today.

I'd really like it if every orginization and its brother would stop asking me for money. If I want to help the homeless/hungry/sick/poor/ugly/whatever, I'll do it myself. That way I at least know exactly who's getting my help.

Sickness is in the house. Ah, the joys of winter....

Long day full of nothing. I rested for most of the morning and afternoon, and then went out on errands. I needed more goat's milk (which is helping, thankfully) and return the video game. Ran by Petco and bought the cat a few toys and a new collar, and now it's home for stir fry.

We got a shitload of coupons in the mail, most of which we can actually use. Also rented a few movies, and now are all just hanging out. We've decided to do more shopping at Trader Joe's, due to good prices and good food. I pay $2.00 there for the same amount of milk I pay $5.00 and up for at regular stores.

I've begun setting aside time for my writing, and forcing myself to sit down and write. Outline, brainstorm, research, whatever. Just to get myself cracking on it. I've done three story outlines, and will have some more tonight.

Looked into health insurance today, which wasn't as much of a pain as I thought it would be.

Christmas cards will be mailed out sometime this week!
